You're never gonna keep me down.

Something I stole from Marie. (:

Just a short post.
I dread the exams coming up. Dang. It's gonna be mugging for the next few weeks. Gotta put my disgusting English CA results behind me and try to get the grade I want. But for now, it's my last so-called chance to have fun this weekend, before it starts.
I plan to really put Project Socialites into action this Saturday. There'll be a lot of opportunities. Most importantly cat class, then there's Mervelle's cat class, followed by the partaye! Even though Project socialites is a Bao + Man tou thing, I believe it can be applied elsewhere. I'm quite excited. I've tried it out on some people. Mostly two people, but I've just gotten the same reaction, which is no reaction. Sheesh. Help me out here. Nonetheless, I have faith. Nothing's impossible for the awesome duo of Man tou and Bao. (:

Carpe diem!

For some reason I can't explain.

Friday was a fun day. Spent with the awesome people, Nut, Gill, Gwen and Mervelle. We went to Queensway to look for our bags but they didn't have the colours we wanted. So disappointing. I know Nut was especially upset, but we're going to Heeren to look for it on Monday, so hopefully we have better luck there, eh? (:
And speaking of Nuttaye, she followed Mervelle and I to mass. Say omg. We bought meatballs from Ikea and ate them in the cab to church. Hoho. Mervelle's sister and her friend, Rod went for mass with us. Rebecca too. And halfway through mass, Rebecca told me that Rod's her catechist. :0 But he stopped teaching to study. How coincidental.
As Nut and I were leaving church and walking out the gates, I was about to tell her the story of how at that same place Mervelle and I once saw a rat. And before I could even finish my sentence, a bloody rat scurries past us into church! I pointed at it and we both screamed. How horrifying. It was like a repeat incident. Then the woman in front of us scolded us. Sheesh.
This week we had colour codes for our rubberbands. (: Monday was red, Tuesday was orange, Wednesday was green, Thursday pink, and Friday purple. How cool. We only got caught on Tuesday and Wednesday. :/
Jasmine and I ate almost 2 thirds of a packet of Fruitella today. She said the peach flavoured ones suck so we ate only the blackcurrant and strawberry. She likes the strawberry so she took most of that and I ate like almost 5 blackcurrant ones. We're gonna get diabetes. Oh well.
We had to do some decision making thing today. We had to write down a list of the 15 most important people in our lives. So, instinctively I wrote down, and so did most other people, family first. Then followed by close friends and cousins. The next step was to strike off 5 names. Aaron said to imagine you're in a boat and you can only save these people. So in other words imagine you kill 5 people by throwing them in the sea. Feed them to the sharks. The first five were hard, but the next 4 we had to strike off were even more difficult. I spent a long time thinking about who was to go first. And finally, we cancel another 3 names to make the final 3. I was left with one family member, one close friend, and one cousin. I think mostly only the girls took this thing seriously. The guys were writing people like Bill Gates, George Bush and Osama.
But I think this thing was good, in the sense that it made me think about the people that helped make changes in my life and such. After class however, I thought about it again and I think if I were to rewrite the list, there are some people I would take off and some I would put on. Some I would strike off earlier, some not till later. Jasmine and I felt bad striking off family members cause well, they're family. And I had a hard time deciding which friends to strike off first. Now I realise though, that some people, some friends, I only put there because we hang out together everyday, or I feel I am obliged to. Which is not really the point of this thing. But I realised who the most important people in my are. So yeah, I would do it differently now.
I thought that was quite an eye opener, because it sorta like forced me to choose. Which life sometimes does to you too. You can't always run away from everything. Even though I would if I could. Oh well. At least I know now that whatever decision I make, I'll make it with God.
I like cat class. (:
And I like cat class with Jasmine. It's fun. We laugh quite a lot. (: We missed Van today though. Next week, man tou. Project socialites!

Gotta be starting something.

Two awesome photos from an awesome night at Gill's place. See Gill, I picked one of the rare photos with you in it. We had dinner at Mad Jack's. The waiters were kinda weird, which was funny. I think they need new waiters. The stupid guy got pissed off at us because he was serving us food that we didn't order. "The counter said you ordered this. I'm just serving." (Slams food onto table and walks away.) PMS, much? So we had an extra plate of free food. And we finished it. Hahah. After dinner Gloria joined us and we ran around the streets singing and cam-whoring. "Starlight 6" w0rxzxz. Hoho. That night was a Saturday two weeks ago. Gee, Rebecca's right, I haven't blogged for quite some time.

Had lunch at Relish with Rachael, Gill, Nut, Marie, Gwen, Gloria and Zara last Friday afternoon. Good food. Nut and I had the Ram-Lee burger which was so not your average Ramly. Gourmet, bitch. That was followed by the lava chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream. That, my friends, was a sin on a plate. Yum. I should have a food blog like Fonzi. Hahah.

Van, Me and Tab! (Grabbed from Van's blog. Hahah.)

Friday night was spent with Tabitha and Van in church watching Postcards from Paul. I thought it was quite awesome. I laughed my ass off. Walk on water productions did a good job. If Postcards from Paul go to your church, go watch it. Seriously. The tickets are not priced. You can just give a love offering. And friends, when they come to your church, tell me. I don't mind watching it again. So yeah, watch Postcards from Paul. Free publicity here. Hoho.

Friday night was also the opening ceremony of the Beijing Olympics. Sam and I sat in front of the bloody tv just waiting for Fed- the official flag bearer for Switzerland, mind you- to walk on. When he finally came on, some gigantic moron from the country walking in front was blocking him. Sam and I were like, "Aargh! Move!" Darling Fed. (: I should've put a picture of him holding the flag. I still love Fed even though Rafa's taking over as world number 1. Bleaah. I don't care how long you've waited, I still don't believe he deserves it just as I didn't and still don't believe he deserved Wimbledon. Call me a sore loser if you want, but for me, the awesome graceful Fed triumphs Rafa and his bulging biceps anyday. As Sam said, "form is temporary but class is forever." Federer forever, babes.

Things that made me happy today:

- No LD. Whoooo home early!
- Two chocolate muffins!
- Laughing at Marie wearing someone else's bra. (I'm still laughing.)

Undiscovered.

Haven't really blogged in a while. I wanted to keep Joker at the top for as long as possible, and whenever I could write, there was nothing to write about, and when there was something to write about, it wasn't the right time.

This week has been pretty interesting, to say the least. We seem to always get ourselves into "staring incidents" when we're not even staring. Not really, anyway. Some people are so insecure. Sheesh. I've been thinking more about myself too. If I'm doing a good job as a friend and such. But I'm not really the kind to express all feelings on a blog post, so I won't elaborate. I'm such a lousy blogger.

Mass with Mervelle today was pretty entertaining. She is a klutz. Rather accident prone, that poor girl. First, she got a nose bleed, then she fell down the stairs. Omg, I'm so sorry Mervelle, but that was just funny. Reminds me of the time in the AVA room. Hoho. OH and we saw a rat outside church! At the drain. Mervelle was peering into the drain and I asked her what she was doing. And she said, "I think I see a mouse..or a rat or whatever." And I say, "Really? Where?"
She points out a spot and we watch something moving but we can't really see it. Then a rat crawls out! We screamed and ran for our lives. Hahah. Tabitha was walking to the bus stop but I received a message from her, "Why did you scream?" She thought we almost got hit by a car or something.

I'm actually really looking forward to class tomorrow. (: Sexuality! Woohoo!

Thank you my friend, for helping me realise.

Reminds me that there's time to change. Reminds me that there's room to grow.
